Manager Bootcamp

Today’s standard manager training programs leave a lot on the table for companies to pick up. While many deliver quality content, they stop at classroom style lessons that don’t reliably lead to lasting organizational changes in management behaviors.

This was the challenge Laura was faced with when leading HR at a growing organization with both experienced and first-time managers to level-up. Manager skills remained difficult to master, didn’t turn into lasting behavior changes and the lessons themselves were often lost in the noise then forgotten months later. This is why she developed her own program - the Manager Bootcamp.

The program combines on-demand content (replacing the “classroom” learning) and real life practice, bootcamp style, with peers. The program was highly successful and its impact still discussed years after participation. Laura continues to iterate on ways to deliver more impact through the program and, from experience, highly recommends adding group coaching onto the program.

“Laura's manager boot camps were some of the biggest step-function improvements I have had in terms of growing my managerial skills. As any executive knows, you can read as many books on a subject as you want, but you will really only understand it when you put that knowledge into action. That is what these boot camps accomplish.”— CTO
